The calorie is a pre-SI metric unit of energy. It was first defined by Nicolas Clément in 1824 as a unit of heat, entering French and English dictionaries between 1841 and 1867. In most fields its use is archaic, having been replaced by the SI unit of energy, the joule. However, in many countries it remains in common use as a unit of food energy.

According to a recent study by Bisto, modern working families now eat their dinner in four different rooms at four different times. It is no surprise that the average family meal only lasts 22mins and one third eat dinner in front of a computer screen. It is sad times to think that children are eating in their bedrooms alone

these are the low calories food which are helpful for weight loss
- Low fat cottage cheese
- Cool Whip
- Mushroom
- Tomatoes
- Boiled potatoes

The caloric value of any diet is the single most important factor for weight loss. 500 calories of junk food does not have the same effect on weight loss as 500 calories of healthy food.

Low-calorie foods are beneficial to health is also good for lowering blood pressure in your body. It also increase the vitamin and the blood in your body.
