Cardio Workout You Can Do at Home Without Equipment

Postby fitnes57 » Fri Dec 11, 2009 3:55 pm

Did you know that you are more likely to stick to a fitness program if the workouts are fun and challenging? This seems obvious, but there are so many people out there that are struggling to stick to a fitness program. Perhaps these people just have not found something they enjoy doing.

Well, the goal of this article is going to give you some options you can use to get a great workout in the comfort of your own home. Hopefully, after reading this, you will find something that truly challenges, interests, and motivates you to get into shape.

When it comes to cardio Insanity Workout, the key is to find some sort of aerobic exercise that you enjoy. My favorites have always been jump roping and shadowboxing. Shadowboxing is one of the easiest forms of cardio that you can do without using any weights.

What I do is simply turn on some loud music, and set a timer for 3 minutes. Then I bounce around and simply pretend I'm fighting some guy. It helps if you imagine someone you're angry at. Perhaps a co-worker, or your neighbor who keeps letting his kids draw on your white picket fence.

Another great way to burn some calories without going to Insanity Workout, is jump roping. A jump roping costs around $10, and is simple to learn. Just go back in time and remember how you used to play with the jump rope. And if you feel silly, don't.

Some of the greatest athletes in the world use jump roping as an effective conditioning tool. The last way you can get into shape in the comfort of your own home is to use calisthenics movements. Calisthenics is often confused with bodyweight exercises.

Bodyweight exercises are movements such as pushups, pullups, and bodyweight squats. Calisthenics movements are exercises such as run in place, jump in place, and jumping jacks. To create a great calisthenics Insanity Workout, , just choose 4-6 exercises and perform them for a minute each.

Make sure you perform the exercises right after each other with minimal to no rest in between each set. This will help keep your heart rate up and allow you to burn even more calories. For even more fat burning, combine your calisthenics exercises with jump roping or shadowboxing.

Even a small reduction in salt in the diet can be a big help

Even a small reduction in salt in the diet can be a big help to the heart. A new study used a computer model to predict how just three grams less a day would affect heart disease in the United States.
The result: thirteen percent fewer heart attacks. Eight percent fewer strokes. Four percent fewer deaths. Eleven percent fewer new cases of heart disease. And two hundred forty billion dollars in health care savings.

Well, this I think is the best idea of doing cardio exercise. You can try any of these activities that involves some type of continuous movement like cycling, swimming, running, aerobics, rowing, stairclimbing, etc. These are all easy exercise which you can do at home.
