A lot of people are confused about the term "ketosis". You may read that it is a "dangerous state" for the body, and, indeed it sounds abnormal to be "in ketosis".

The ketone body acetoacetate will slowly decarboxylate into acetone, a volatile compound that is both metabolized as an energy source and lost in the breath and urine.

I'd be careful with ketosis... I've put myself in a semi-permanent state of ketosis before and ended up excreting lots and lots of ammonia. Didn't enjoy smelling like cat pee!

I write about it on a few of my supplement reviews at http://seriouslysupplements.co.uk/ I'd really appreciate it if you guys could check it out actually!
